[00:00:00]

[00:00:05] Kyle Pierce: on November 6th, Venus will leave her home sign of Libra and enter Scorpio and immediately begin applying to a square with Pluto and Aquarius, which will go exactly the following day,

[00:00:17] around midnight on November 7th.

[00:00:19] and this represents a bit of a jarring.

[00:00:21] As far as the news matters are concerned.

[00:00:24] Venus in Libra is conscientious. It's.

[00:00:27] Sociable,

[00:00:28] good at creating connections

[00:00:29] at various levels from the casual to the deeply intimate and romantic,

[00:00:36] and part of the virtue of Venus in Libra.

[00:00:39] And it being in an air sign is that

[00:00:41] there's an ability to maintain appropriate distance

[00:00:44] based on generally accepted

[00:00:47] social customs, right,

[00:00:48] which can certainly vary from place to place or situation to situation. But in general, this observance of

[00:00:54] and adaptation to the

[00:00:56] consensus understanding of what is

[00:00:59] the [00:01:00] appropriate, uh, way of relating to somebody based on all manner of.

[00:01:04] Sociocultural factors tends to make people comfortable and tends to naturally facilitate relationships

[00:01:11] progressing on healthy, along healthy lines and are easy to maintain Harmony in

[00:01:19] that comes a bit more naturally to Venus and Libra,

[00:01:22] while with Venus and Scorpio. Scorpio being a water sign, Venus.

[00:01:27] Has the, the water to create and pursue successfully connections,

[00:01:33] emotional connections, bonding, connection is

[00:01:35] one of the primary.

[00:01:36] Qualities of water signs, the ability to connect But because of the nature of Scorpio.

[00:01:42] Which is both concerned with the endurance or longevity of connections

[00:01:46] as a fixed water sign and is very protective of connections. Uh, as I've discussed in the past,

[00:01:52] when water flows through a pipe, uh, in order for it to flow

[00:01:55] through a closed system, there needs to be the existence of negative [00:02:00] pressure somewhere in that system in order to pull the water along.

[00:02:05] Unless there's a break somewhere, then it, you know, can just flow out.that negative pressure has to exist. So there's this quality of hunger or awareness of an absence.

[00:02:14] There's a, a longing and a depth and a deeply desirous quality to Scorpio, which Venus

[00:02:22] takes to quite readily.

[00:02:24] Venus and Scorpio can be quite. Desirous for connection and sometimes fixated on connecting with a particular object of desire.

[00:02:35] And that's part of the, the magnetism or attraction of Venus and Scorpio, is that hunger, uh, that being drawn towards words.

[00:02:43] Somebody who's, you know, got it for you bad right, or is just focused on you. And that level of focus and intensity can be uncomfortable and sometimes socially.

[00:02:52] Uh, creates social problems in some cases because it's not always appropriate

[00:02:58] or it can just make some people [00:03:00] uncomfortable.

[00:03:00] But this is part of the,

[00:03:01] both the mo uh, the strength of Venus and Scorpio, as well as the thing which tends to get it in trouble sometimes.

[00:03:10] That fixation and that hunger and that desire and that, uh, potential for.

[00:03:15] Insatiability can feed into an obsessive quality

[00:03:18] or sometimes a tendency to draw in relationships which

[00:03:22] are dangerous or emotionally volatile.

[00:03:25] And now with you, Venus applied to a square with Pluto,

[00:03:29] Pluto, and Aquarius.

[00:03:30] Uh, Pluto introduces this fear. And potential experience of alienation or

[00:03:35] rejection or not being seen or accepted,

[00:03:39] which can amplify that sense of negative space, that sense of hunger and desire,

[00:03:45] which can push us more towards, uh, extreme

[00:03:48] reactions or behaviors when it comes to the pursuit of connection

[00:03:53] or within our experience of desire.

[00:03:56] And often with Scorpio in general,

[00:03:57] you'll get this intense, [00:04:00] fixated pursuit on objects of desire or on the fulfillment of needs or the seeking of revenge. Right? Uh,

[00:04:08] but you'll also get

[00:04:10] what can sometimes show up as a sort of.

[00:04:12] Tendency towards asceticism

[00:04:14] or abstaining from the pursuit of objects are of desire.

[00:04:19] Often after having had a tumultuous relationship with

[00:04:23] their desires, you'll see, you know.

[00:04:26] Because of the inherent danger or awareness of

[00:04:29] what can sometimes be a futile cycle of

[00:04:33] fulfillment and hunger and fulfillment in hunger. And

[00:04:35] you often see people with planets and Scorpio having at least some relationship with abstinence or

[00:04:41] withdrawing or refraining from

[00:04:43] pursuing, uh, certain dangerous activities or bad habits. And with Venus and Scorpio, you'll sometimes get. An aversion or

[00:04:53] hesitance, hesitancy, or even refusal to participate in intimate relationships [00:05:00] because

[00:05:00] there's a, a fear of the vulnerability or of the getting sucked into that cycle, right?

[00:05:08] So particularly around

[00:05:10] this square with Pluto, a lot of what make it stirred up is

[00:05:13] this fear of rejection or alienation and how we respond to it. Do we?

[00:05:18] Double down and say, no, you will look at me. You'll never let me go. Right. Um,

[00:05:22] do we pursue the fulfillment of that desired connection even harder,

[00:05:27] or do we back away entirely

[00:05:28] and potentially become isolated?

[00:05:31] These are some of the things that might get stirred up around

[00:05:34] this early part of Venus and Scorpio.

[00:05:37] However, another big part of what's happening with Venus right now is that Venus

[00:05:42] has recently entered the phase where her proximity to the sun

[00:05:46] is beginning to cause her to disappear under the beams of the sun, which is traditionally identified as about 15 degrees.

[00:05:53] However, in reality that point where a planet actually disappears under the beams of the sun can vary [00:06:00] quite a bit depending on the sign and the season and

[00:06:04] where you are in the world. Uh, we won't get into that, but. Suffice it to say this is the beginning of

[00:06:10] a new and separate phase for Venus,

[00:06:12] where she's directed motion and she's, uh, moving faster than the sun and applying to the conjunction.

[00:06:18] And this is the superior conjunction,

[00:06:20] unlike the inferior conjunction which takes place when Venus is retrograde.

[00:06:24] The superior conjunction takes quite a bit longer to complete, and we experience quite a bit of time where we are unable to see venous at all in the morning or evening sky.

[00:06:34] But this process is characterized by Venus

[00:06:38] having been a Morningstar for some time now since Venus Station Direct during the last retrograde period.

[00:06:44] Which was earlier this year

[00:06:46] in Aries and Pisces

[00:06:47] and Venus in her Morningstar phase where she is rising in the morning before the sun. And so that's, uh, the time that she's visible, hence why we call her a morning star in that phase.

[00:06:59] Uh, [00:07:00] this is a much more outgoing mode for Venus, for Bonous, uh, for Venus.

[00:07:05] it's, uh, it can be a little bit more self-oriented in the sense that because it is associated with

[00:07:11] the part of the sky.

[00:07:12] Which rises in the morning, which the part of the sky that's rising is always the first house. It's the ascendant.

[00:07:17] So it has that kind of built in association with self

[00:07:19] and identifying what the individual desires and

[00:07:23] what they like, what they don't like in seeking to draw in more of what they find desirable and, you know, push away what they don't.

[00:07:33] As opposed to Venus as an evening star,

[00:07:36] where Venus tends to be a little more other oriented, a little more focused on identifying the qualities,

[00:07:42] needs, desires, uh, of other people, and

[00:07:45] adapting oneself to. Fulfill those

[00:07:49] or simply be, uh, a little bit more of an appreciator

[00:07:53] or observer of others, which is a little more archetypally a in line with the ideal Venus in a [00:08:00] sense. Because Venus is a nocturnal

[00:08:02] planet and it is the, uh,

[00:08:04] planet primarily concerned with creating relationships with others, this is a little more natural

[00:08:09] for Venus.

[00:08:10] It tends to be better at creating,

[00:08:13] enduring, uh, long lasting relationships. Not that if you have a morning starness, you're doomed to

[00:08:18] terrible relationships and being, you know, a selfish asshole. Uh, it's far from the case, but uh, it just pushes things, you know, in one direction or the other.

[00:08:28] Now,

[00:08:29] in order to become the evening star, Venus,

[00:08:32] Venus has to go through this superior conjunction,

[00:08:34] has to dive. Under the beams of the sun and disappear for a while.

[00:08:39] In fact, Venus won't reach that.

[00:08:41] 15 degree point

[00:08:43] distance from the sun that is classically associated with a planet being, uh, free of the beams of the sun. Again, that can vary based on sign and location in the world,

[00:08:53] but in essence,

[00:08:54] we won't see Venus again until, uh, about March

[00:08:57] of 2026.

[00:08:58] This is a good [00:09:00] four to five months or so.

[00:09:01] And so you can kind of think of this process for Venus as being a little bit like soul searching or

[00:09:07] going out in search of, of a higher love, right?

[00:09:11] And it tends to be more concerned with.

[00:09:13] The more abstract or less visible components of

[00:09:17] beauty or

[00:09:18] desire or love or connection.

[00:09:20] And as with any planet that

[00:09:23] goes under the beams of the sun and. It eventually conjoins the sun and emerges once more. It's going through this process of purification, of burning away the impure or the material components of what that planet represents

[00:09:38] in order to connect

[00:09:40] more deeply with the spirit of that planet.

[00:09:43] So love and beauty, less attached to objects,

[00:09:46] and more as an expression of something spiritual or something ideal or a sort of principle.

[00:09:52] And so this is the beginning of that journey,

[00:09:54] and it will take about two months or so for Venus to

[00:09:57] reach the conjunction with the [00:10:00] Sun, which will be taking place in January in Capricorn.

[00:10:03] So this is kind of a longer process. This is a dive into

[00:10:08] the non-material side of Venus,

[00:10:10] but being still on the Morningstar side, you know, we're trying to,

[00:10:14] Get to the heart of what it is that we desire.

[00:10:18] Would be becoming more interested in connections which are

[00:10:21] less superficial,

[00:10:22] that are maybe more shared, uh, based on shared beliefs

[00:10:25] rather than, uh, the material aesthetic.

[00:10:29] Or sensual value they bring and more on

[00:10:32] how they align with

[00:10:33] who we are on a more foundational level.

[00:10:36] And that maybe have the capacity to endure distance or,

[00:10:40] poverty or hardship or.

[00:10:42] Dry spells or you know, just bad days, right?

[00:10:46] It's a little more about the idea of relationship.

[00:10:49] And committing to a relationship, not because

[00:10:52] you're having hot sex every day, or I

[00:10:54] they make a lot of money and buy you purses every week, right? It's, uh, that [00:11:00] sounded harsh, uh, but it's, it's less based on those things

[00:11:04] and more about committing to the idea.

[00:11:06] And this can be a very interesting thing to observe with the venous cycle is if you look at

[00:11:12] where the last retrograde took place in areas in Pisces and you know what parts of your life that represents and

[00:11:19] the ways which you maybe achieve some clarity on what you want in those areas of life,

[00:11:24] which you don't want anymore, and perhaps started, uh, set about

[00:11:28] trying to bring more of that in.

[00:11:29] Uh, this phase of Venus will often be the point or be marked by a sort of testing of our commitment to

[00:11:36] what we started.

[00:11:37] After the retrograde, after the last retrograde, and

[00:11:40] we see a sort of streamlining or purifying of

[00:11:44] whatever that thing is.

[00:11:45] Say, you know, it took place in your ninth house and during the retrograde made up your mind to a undertake a new course of study.

[00:11:55] So now that you've had some time studying that thing, you've had some experience with it, [00:12:00] you've identified things you do like, things that you don't like about it.

[00:12:03] This is where maybe you start going through the process of

[00:12:05] zeroing in on.

[00:12:07] The principles behind your desire to pursue that particular field or that course of study,

[00:12:12] and whether or not it's truly in line with the principles that underpinned your initial pursuit.

[00:12:18] And getting clear on

[00:12:20] whether or not continuing that course of study in this case is worth maybe some of the headaches that you have to deal with on a day-to-day basis. Some of the things you don't like about it,

[00:12:29] or if it's maybe a little bit off target, then, you know, maybe adjusting course a little bit.

[00:12:35] But this is the process that we're beginning

[00:12:37] now.

[00:12:38] Uh, the final thing I wanted to say

[00:12:40] about Venus and Scorpio is that I,

[00:12:42] as an enter Scorpio, it is also

[00:12:45] beginning to

[00:12:46] become involved in this Grand water trine, bringing the Venusian perspective or the significances of Venus into. What it is we're trying to work out

[00:12:55] in the water signs right now,

[00:12:57] and a lot of this I've already discussed [00:13:00] earlier in the full moon video, as well as in the New Moon and Libra video, which I highly suggest you check out. Also,

[00:13:07] if you haven't already, it would still be worthwhile to check out

[00:13:10] the videos for your rising sun or moon sign.

[00:13:14] Do you get a little more information on how this Grand Shrine is

[00:13:17] impacting your sign specifically?

[00:13:20] But a lot of what we're building towards is this new Moon in Scorpio taking place.

[00:13:25] On the 19th and we'll most likely talk a little more about Venus's involvement in it when we do that video.

[00:13:31] But for now, you can think about this Grand Shrine now having this Venusian element, uh, introduced into it.

[00:13:38] And we're seeing how

[00:13:39] this, uh, ongoing.

[00:13:41] Review of the state of

[00:13:43] our relationship to

[00:13:45] a set of ideas

[00:13:46] or a particular mode that the world around us has been operating in

[00:13:51] is now going away, or, uh, taking on a new shape. We're saying our goodbyes to it, and we're coming to terms with what that [00:14:00] means for us internally.

[00:14:01] Venus is going to, uh, connect us more deeply with

[00:14:06] how this change in paradigm or how, uh, this expectation, the expectations built on the now passing old world, if you will, has impacted our relationships, our ex expectations about our relationships or how it's informed certain desires.

[00:14:23] And we may feel more deeply the belonging for or absence of.

[00:14:28] Or even sense of the impermanence of

[00:14:31] the current state of things and figuring out how to let go

[00:14:36] or to simply

[00:14:38] enjoy

[00:14:39] what uh, remains, even though it's impermanent, even though it. We'll pass, which is gonna be part of the challenge of this. Uh, it tends to be the strength of Venus when it's in Pisces,

[00:14:51] is that, uh, ability to detach from

[00:14:54] the individual moment and sort of appreciate it and not, uh, try to hold on too tightly to [00:15:00] it. And I think part of Saturn stationing very close to the degree of Venus' Exaltation is gonna be bringing

[00:15:06] a lot of that up, that maybe tension around wanting to be able to appreciate

[00:15:11] these sort of closing, uh, moments of a period.

[00:15:14] And enjoy it

[00:15:15] without getting caught up in

[00:15:17] the anticipation of its absence

[00:15:19] or in some cases, being so enamored with

[00:15:21] this idea of how things should be and should continue to be that we refuse to acknowledge the passing or we try to hold onto something which isn't gonna be able to be sustained. And this isn't, as you know, terrible and heavy necessarily as it sounds. We go through these periods all the time. If you have kids, you know you're going through.

[00:15:44] Uh, at least half a dozen of 'em throughout their childhood.

[00:15:48] But things, these things, uh, continue to happen throughout our lives where, you know, a period of our life ends and it's time to move on to the next thing.

[00:15:55] This just happens to have a bit larger of a scope and [00:16:00] applies to

[00:16:00] things on a larger scale, uh, on

[00:16:03] an era of the world where, uh, that isn't going to be the, the way it was.

[00:16:09] It's gonna be a new world. Uh.

[00:16:11] So, you know, don't, uh, go down with the ship of the old one, right? But we can figure out what we wanna keep, you know, what, what is worth holding onto? What is worth carrying on into the new paradigm, and what do we have to let go of?
