New Moon In Taurus -5/11/21-
“Bulls on parade”
The new moon in Taurus is about getting into our respective grooves. When something works, its best not to try to reinvent the wheel. Taurus gets a reputation for being slow, and plodding, and rather stuck in its ways. And while the pace of Taurus can be somewhat cumbersome, Taurus knows that the secret to abundance is momentum. The Moon loves to be in Taurus where the rhythm of nature’s cycles carry on harmoniously with the steady assurance that the earth will provide, and life endures. The Sun, while not technically dignified in Taurus, is in the tenth sign from its domicile Leo, and can take pride in the knowledge that it is recognized for the contribution of its life giving rays in feeding the new growth of the springtime season now in full bloom. Even Mars, still in its fall in Cancer, can’t help but enjoy the abundance being rained down upon him by his flush host.
The presence of Uranus, however, has the Buffalo herd of Taurus moving uncharacteristically fast, a theme further emphasized by Venus’s recent ingress into sprightly Gemini. The usual grazing pastures won’t do in this radically shifting landscape, and we have to move fast if we want to capitalize on this rare opportunity to establish a new path to prosperity. There is in an undercurrent of chaos and unease as we are confronted with the need to expand outside our comfort zones. This theme is emphasized as the Sun and Moon are applying to a trine with Pluto that will become exact at their respective conjunctions with the fixed star Algol. There is a gaping hole in the status quo right now, and anyone paying attention is jumping in to claim their piece of the new order being established. But just as we are being forced to let go of some of the tried and true methods that served us in the past, exercise caution in clinging to tightly to any new territory you manage to carve out in this reshuffling of the deck. As tempting as it to find our new normal and settle in for the long haul, don’t count on the ground your standing on to remain solid for long.
Maintaining momentum in a ever changing paradigm requires a delicate balance. A train can move fast and carry huge loads because its tracks are already laid out before it. But what if there is no track ahead? If we move too fast, at any moment we may have to change direction or go careening into a canyon with all our precious cargo. If we move too slow or stay still, we may keep our stuff, but its not much use packed away in a fright car. My advice, don’t be a train.
